Polymer Gear Prototypes

Nylon PA12 (SLS) and POM (FDM) gear prototypes for kinematic testing and design validation. True involute tooth form at module 0.5 and above. Quieter operation than metal-on-metal — ideal for low-noise drive trains.

Metal Gear Production

SLM 316L stainless and 17-4 PH steel gears for high-torque applications where polymer cannot survive. Integral hubs, keyways, and mounting features in a single print. Post-heat treatment to AGMA mechanical requirements.

Custom Compound Gear Assemblies

Compound gear trains, planetary stages, and epicyclic assemblies printed as near-complete assemblies. Integrated bearing seats, lubricant channels, and clearance fits dimensioned for as-printed assembly without secondary machining.

Material Options by Application

Gear material selection governs noise, load, speed, and service life — our portfolio covers the full range.

  • Nylon PA12 (SLS) — low-noise, self-lubricating
  • POM (Acetal) — stiff, chemical resistant, low friction
  • 316L stainless — corrosion resistant, food-grade
  • 17-4 PH steel — hardened, high-torque applications
  • PEEK — high-temperature, aggressive chemical environments
  • Bronze-filled nylon — bearing-surface wear resistance
